Happy Trump takes a jibe at ‘RINO’ Romney

US President Donald Trump couldn’t help being sarcastic while expressing his relief at fellow Republican and former presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, testing negative for novel corona virus. He wielded his Twitter mike to announce his love for Romney while denouncing him as an unworthy Republican.
Trump tweeted, “This is really great news! I am so happy I can barely speak. He may have been a terrible presidential candidate and an even worse U.S. Senator, but he is a RINO, and I like him a lot!” RINO is a jibe used by the Republicans for members who are not conservative enough and lean towards the liberal. The acronym RINO refers to Republican Only In Name.
Trump shares a love-hate relationship with Romney who had made an unsuccessful bid against President Barack Obama in 2012 polls. Romney who is a senator from Utah was the lone wolf in the Republican camp to vote to impeach President Trump earlier this year.
