Makers release first look of biopic on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan

A silver screen tribute to the undying hero of the 26/11 terror attacks is on the way. The first look of the film Major, which is based on the life of NSG commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, was released on November 27, his death anniversary.
Actor-director Adivi Sesh plays Major Unnikrishnan, who was killed in action during the 2008 attack. Sesh also released a video message as tribute to the hero. “I can only say that he impacted my life from the first moment I knew about him. It was in 2008, I remember when I had seen his photograph, splashed across all the channels. I didn’t know what to make of it, I kept wondering, who is this man,” Sesh spoke of Major Unnikrishnan.
Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, who makes his debut as a producer with the movie, took to Twitter to unveil Sesh’s look. is a biopic based on 26/11 hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. On Sandeep’s death anniversary, the makers of Major paid a tribute to the Sandeep Unnikrishnan with a video of Adivi Sesh’s look test.
Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Adivi Sesh reprises the role of Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the film. The movie, which is being simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu, is set to release next year.
