#JLF: Catch Nobel Laureate Gurnah on second day of Jaipur Lit Fest
1 min readReaders who may have missed the keynote address by Nobel Prize winner and celebrated writer Abdulrazak Gurnah on the opening day of the Jaipur Literature Festival still have a chance to hear him on the second day during the session, The Essential Abdulrazak Gurnah.
In conversation with Alexandra Pringle, the author will speak about life in writing.
Gurnah delivered the keynote address on the opening day of this year’s JLF. Gurnah joined the league of extraordinary JLF keynote speakers including the Dalai Lama, Margaret Atwood, and Amartya Sen. His books include, Booker-shortlisted titles such as Paradise and By the Sea. His book, Afterlives, was shortlisted for the Orwell Prize for Fiction in 2021. Gurnah, who lives in Canterbury, has previously served as a professor of English at the University of Kent.
