1 min readPrince Charles, 71, who is the most visible face of the British royal family in public events, has tested positive for novel Corona virus. He along with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 72, has been quarantined at Balmoral, Scotland. A spokesman for the royal family said Prince Charles has the symptoms attributed to Covid-19, but otherwise remains in good health. The queen and the duchess haven’t tested positive for the virus.
It is reported that the prince was in presence of the Queen on March 12. However, the palace said, “the queen is in good health and is following all the appropriate advice with regard to her welfare.” The palace was not in the know who the prince contracted the virus from. “It is not possible to ascertain from whom the prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks,” the spokesperson said.
